Curriculum

Maria Sandberg is a PhD student at Hanken School of Economics as well as a student in sociology at University of Helsinki. Her dissertation analyses ways to reduce consumption levels in high-consuming societies in response to environmental degradation, addressing in particular normative conceptions of sustainability as well as negotiations of social norms. Her main research interest is sustainability transitions towards degrowth, sufficiency, and sustainable production-consumption systems.
